HOW TO GET TO ORURO ?
Oruro is well connected with La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and Potosi as well as countries like Argentina, Chile and Peru.
It's been a major mining centre and railway hub, but with the closing of the mine and with more and more rail connections ceasing, the town is about to lose its importance. Currently Oruro train has southbound services to Uyuni and beyond.
